Here from Fidelity; new Chief Privacy Officer came to USAA

Run until you think you can't run any further. Then muster up some energy and run some more.

For those of you that are wondering as usual with his communications if you interact with him he uses AI to generate questions and communications , he himself has posted the most recent comment here saying he’s not such a bad guy and shocker he used AI.

I’ve worked with the new CPO in the past and wanted to share a different perspective, especially given the amount of speculation on this thread.

He’s not someone who plays politics or surrounds himself with yes-people. If anything, he asks tough questions, expects accountability, and makes decisions based on facts—not favors. Some may misread that as being “dismissive,” but in reality, it’s a sharp focus on outcomes and getting up to speed quickly.

I’ve also heard directly from at least three unsolicited people in the EPO team that he’s been the most approachable, engaged, and passionate CPO the company has had in recent years. That kind of genuine feedback stands out, especially in a place where people don’t hand out compliments easily.

That said, what’s most disappointing in this thread isn’t skepticism—healthy debate is fine. It’s the level of toxicity, veiled personal attacks, and in some cases, outright racist undertones. It’s hard to read some of these comments and not be concerned about the environment we’re trying to create. As an American, this kind of behavior feels deeply un-American. We’re better than this—just my two cents.

Try working with that team there are probably no more than 2-3 decent people the rest are employed based on favor. No thank you to entire EPO, Chintan should fit right in.

Our team met the new CPO at Privacy event he was a bit dismissive; I agree with the previous poster a lot of lip service time will tell

Is OP a USAA employee or a Fidelity employee?

Former Fidelity now USAA employee here; collective gasp when several of us saw that he is at USAA biting off more than can be chewed is an understatement. Lip service and head nodding.

USAA most definitely has way too many chiefs and some are all about the SA/SH. I had to resign from this company after a decade due to that. Also, HR is on the side of them doing that to employees so you have nowhere to go, but to run and leave that place…. Super sad!! Once Joe Robles left, it sank like the titanic ship.

The only connection WP has to the U.S. military is the Look Sharp Uniform Guide. He used the small ruler included to measure his tiny *&%^.
