An all hands invitation was sent out this morning for April 1
GP and WP leaders on it and I hope that they have some information to share instead of an hour of word salad slop.

Major cuts are coming as a part of next level org design...significant reduction for non IC roles.
@11d meeting was canceled yet again. Note from PL saying it was moved to later in the month and an email with more details would come out soon
@OP Any new developments?
@c3 I don’t think so, not if it’s a wider announcement about the direction of the technology organization. All hands invite came out from him this morning , for weds at 10.
@c0 It would he odd for Phil L and that level to be on a RIF call wouldn’t?
@bw I don’t know for certain. Just a guess based on the meeting and that it aligns with others saying that’s the RIF date. If you go back and look at the original email from CH you can expand the guest list and see who was invited. The main people were the GP and WP leaders and an HR leader. Maybe she was included for “visibility” in case there are more HR related questions to come but my guess is that it’s more RIF related
@OP am I understanding that if you received the email that YOU will be part of the RIF? Because I did and then it was cancelled.
@b8 Set multiple layers of VPN, mobile network, not Wi-Fi, and just copy and paste the email.
@b5 I have the list of everyone it was sent to and it looks like a group of about 185 people. I don’t know how to share that privately and anonymously. HR was included in the main recipients and everyone else was just cc’d so I would say almost with certainty that it was meant to be a RIF/ reorg call
@a4 it was two from WP (don’t recall the names) and from GP the executive lead CIO (PL) and an SVP (EG) under him. The meeting is now cancelled, maybe April fools day was too cruel of a joke for RIF?
Invite was sent from the admin to the CIO
I heard April 1 is the reorg/rif announcement for the entire org.
Listened to Product roadmap broadcast call yesterday. The go forward roadmap is almost entirely Worldpay now. Genius is the only Global product they’re keeping. For Legacy GP folks, If your job doesn't touch Genius, you're likely on the chopping block.
Is it leaders from the entire org or just Tech?
No invite here.
