Is the food on the cork site part of the forced wfr attempts.
The standard of the food is frankly disgusting and the menu that gets sent out weekly is often incorrect.
I've been thinking is the food designed to try to destroy our will and quit?

Most ketchup has High Fructose Corn Syrup in it, so they're actually doing your body a favor by not providing any.

We can't even get ketchup packets in the Minnesota office, what's a cafeteria or food truck?
@c4 someone shared that OKC has food trucks coming most days because they don’t have a cafeteria anymore. The person I talk to you was not really pleased about it not that the cafeteria was any better from what they said when it was there before Covid.
Everything the company does is to try to destroy your will so that you’ll quit. The sooner you accept that, the sooner you know where you stand.
Where I’m at, the vegan options are like… tater tots or fries. And that’s it! So I bring food from home every day. You would think with all the focus on literally eating more carrots to distract us from the sticks, there would be more healthy plant-based options available!
I wouldn’t give the food a worry. Isn’t cork being closed by end of Q1?
Make your own lunch from home and bring it in.
Use your own insulated bag with a frozen icepack and keep it at your workstation in the morning, to avoid having some disgruntled co-worker messing with it or stealing it from the communal fridge.
You'll save money, have more nutritious lunches, and have the satisfaction of knowing you're not wasting any of your pay giving it back to your oppressors via their nasty-@zz cafeteria!
roaach-coach
wtf would you censor the word roaach???
Those trucks have been one of the most incredible marketing turn-around stories.
It went from ro--h-coach to gourmet-on-wheels.
Sometimes I wish they would cancel the Aramark contracts and instead bring in a variety of overpriced food trucks. You know the expense of restaurant dining combined with the ambience of standing around trying not to spill your food.
Correct. Always shaving pennies here and there. Imagine what you don't see in terms of cost-cutting.
I would not trust the food nor water on campus.
The quality and quantity of food dropped steadily and precipitously at the campus cafes at the RR campus. After the forced return to office, the empty stations, lack of options, lower quality, and reduced hours were pretty shocking. It used to be pretty decent, and there was even an era with local restaurants like Taco Deli holding a guest spot. It's good business sense to keep folks on campus and chatting in the cafe versus driving all over Round Rock for lunch breaks, but Dell just needs to cut, cut, cut whatever it can from employees!
Exactly. I wouldn't be surprised if Dell isn't selling their employees info to opened markets.
You get food??? We can’t get the vending machine refilled.
why on earth would you spend money at the corporate cafeteria? that's not being run at a loss, for the benefit of the workers.
as long as I'm forced in, dell isn't getting a dime from me. nor the nearby business who cried about losing their captive consumer base, as if it were a birthright.
