Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Is DXC the worst company you ever worked for?

Is it even possible to be worse than this place?

Waiting for the DXC stock price to hit $0.121 in November 2020 and then my payout will be $0.00

without a doubt. the worst company I have worked for, and one of the worst I have ever seen. Typically a poor organization will falter in one of three areas: customer service, caring for their employees, or profitability. It's rare to see a company totally fail at all three...a few have managed (Kmart, Radio Shack, Little Caesars, for example). DXC tops the list for me.

It's a sure bet that everyone at DXC will receive a 5% payrise on 1 April, which coincidentally happens to be April Fools' Day. #IseeDXC

Yes the worse ever IT company (non of the managers know what they're doing and don't care as long as they collect the $$/££ get the recognition (but not doing the work) and get their muppets underneath them to do all the hard work. - avoid at all costs - the worse company there is in existence.

The only way to turnaround the disgruntled DXC workers is to provide an across the board payrise to everyone, but Sal won't do that because the shareholders will wake up and scream that their dividend payments are being cut. Better option is for top management to receive a pay rise for all their lack of productivity and to look after their own back pocket. #ISeeDXC

The 3 monthly wfr is on hold at the moment, were not going to get a pay rise for years to come, whilst everyone else you know gets a rise, yes its brilliant not.

What's to look forward to in this end dead, no reward company? Same old every year, your pay slip goes down every year in real terms, so depressing and demotivating.

If you get a top management post then your on a winner, you get all the pay and benefits and you can laugh at all the monkeys below you working for nothing. A one way top down, top heavy management company.

DXC focus on cost-cutting, wage stagnation/reduction, WFRs, pointless and time-consuming quarterly reviews, monitoring social media and anything else. They see employees as liabilities, and as the brand (and stock) value tanks, and they double down on all the behaviors that cause the problems in the first place for DXC. DXC Sorry if your PC is broken and 5 years old, it will be replaced in the replacement program that we canceled, but please fill in this time report and get back to work, and remember if you don't fill in the pointless-time-consuming quarterly reviews and time reports you might get fired.

Look like wall street have finally worked it out, company tanking Dow nearly 6 %, doubting Sals talk that employees are happy, far from it how would you be happy if you hadn't been paid fairly for years.

Joke of a company avoid.

Reading Salvino's latest Q3 analyst call transcript, we are all overjoyed and happy with DXC:

" we have completed a global employee survey. We received over 140,000 comments representing that our people are engaged. They're telling us that they are seeing positive changes and are feeling optimistic."

I'd say you got 140,000 comments and some of them were written by bootlickers and the rest they have ignored.

Still waiting to see those survey results Sal... are you struggling to find a positive?

In comparison to the previous company, which worked me into a burnout, DXC is heaven. A dead end heaven, through.

From the earnings call so far from the truth -

"Look, our people are definitely engaged, all right. And not only did they like the town halls and the openness and transparency that we're talking about in terms of the transformation, but they really responded well to the global employee survey, not only from taking it, but they wanted to see the results. And what I would say is that whole energy bleeds into the market, because our people sit side by side with our customers, and when our people are happy, right, our customers hear that and then that tends to get out in the market."

Earnings of 0.25 instead of 2 revenue is in freefall as customers are leaving. The end is close.

Another set of bad results published, so much so that they are hard to find.

Earnings of 0.25USD when earnings should be hitting 2USD.

Basically lots of provisions accounted for.

Revenues are in free fall with customers leaving.

Never will get a pay rise, Saleh should go.

Absolutely. No question. That is why I left after 1 year. A joke of a company. They offer No value to customers . CORRECTION: make that negative value to customers. No idea how they remain in business.

when I was at DXC, I was 100% remote, I started working another remote job and did the bare minimum for DXC, I lasted about 4 months of 2x pay before deciding to throw in the towel and quit.

I have worked at bad companies before, but there is absolutely no question that this has to be the worst place I have ever worked at. Only reason I stay is because of the flexibility it provides me.

Definetley the worse, no pay rise, no development, no flexibilty. Dead end company.

They have now adopted another strategy of talking about a pay rise its all talk

  • Merit based intent pay rise means never will happen except for the choosen few. Very clever words they are using to kick the can down another few years until the company folds.

Use other excuses like development, Customers etc any excuse but to pay you.
