anyone experience changing from company cell phones to the new AWS phone system where they track and record your calls? Why are they doing this? And they want us to connect with Ethernet cables now….are we in 1999?

The monitoring is getting worse. Every morning, I must sign into Genesys which then access 911 location manager to confirm my address. If there's no activity for about 5 minutes, the screen locks and requires me to reconfirm my address every time. Now, we are being told that if we don't reboot our laptops, we are reported to senior leadership staff.
@bt oh…I actually work and log in and listen to town halls so lol
So will this mean they can tell my location and reveal that I am actually shopping, riding my horse, or sitting getting my nails done while listening to a town hall. And will all my unprofessional conversations with my pals be recorded and stored in the cloud.
When do I get my ankle monitor ?
