Yes, there are Reductions in Force happening today. Huge ones, but Management is keeping them close to the chest.

I have been reading about 1/23 for a while now and it seems like it was all crying wolf.
whats is going on? i figured there would be wayyyyyy more activity on her than anything with the anticipated big layoff

Got it 15 minutes before as a touchpoint so I knew what it was for. Just got out and was let go.

1:1 meeting this morning w/ team lead on only 21 minutes of notice is rather ominous.

So no layoffs eventhough there have been mass layoffs every 3 months for years without fail. Something is off.
They’ve been sending them last minute lately since they know we know. like 15 mins before the meeting.
