I think the author of the article was confused. Check it on any search engine. Also talks about the qrtly investors call, which I think is Jan 30.

@bt Don’t be naive. Every time this board gains traction, there is some truth to these post. I spent 40 yrs. in telecommunications, I’m assuming that you’re under the age of 40 and haven’t spent a lot of years in the industry. Buckle up and get use to the never ending layoffs. If you haven’t noticed, the empire is crumbling around us… I’m headed to China!

I saw the same article this morning. Amazing how news hits outside verizon before the employees hear anything. I'm still in disbelief... on the heels of laying off 13K, Verizon intends to layoff another 15K in 2026? Probably the estimate they have from the Frontier acquisition...?
