Whelp, there it is. Cordani just announced his retirement. Will Evanko turn things around? Please, no more rebranding.

Cordani Last Month: "Hey CoPilot, CI stonk is gonna continue to tank. How can I speed up vesting of all these options and cash them in quick before the Cigpocalypse?©"
@br sure, go back to your a-s
@bj I’d rather lick boots than a-s like you do
Super cute, boot boy.
Like it or not, there was a RTO mandate. Super sorry if your butt buddy Cordani failed on that as well.
But either way, it was not going to stop the forward march of HIH. 70/30. Get it thru your cement skull.
@bc Wow are you stupid. ALOT of people still worked remote in the US after that mandate.
😆😆😆
RTO mandates WERE implemented, remember? Didn't save any jobs, as far as I can tell.
Get that boot out of your mouth. The fumes are damaging your cognitive function.
@ax IDK if RTO mandates were implemented, it could have kept more jobs in the United States.
@b3 Several years of severance, plus numerous other perks

I am hoping soon we will get CEO also from India
@a9 average senior employees get VRP. DC gets a golden parachute! Someone knows his retirement package?
@ak Agree that he was a pretty good CEO at one time. But I think he became too insulated in his executive wing/ company jet bubble and was only surrounded by yes-men. He began to believe his own hype and became disconnected from the business and regular employees. It was past time for him to go.
Oh yeah, super employee-focused. You can tell by the long list of employee-focused initiatives he's spearheaded.
He totally didn't fire the prior HR head for opposition to RTO mandates.
He certainly pushed back hard on layoffs/HIH when the company is making over a billion in quarterly profit.
He made sure we kept our rollover PTO hours and were able to cash them out upon departure.
What a peach.
@at I liked Cordani as well. Evanko seems like a full blown narcissist.
I liked Cordani. Seemed to be very employee focused. Maybe he stepped down because he didn’t like the trajectory the company was heading. With the bean counter in charge, it will get worse. Evanko loves himself. Get ready for a rough ride
DC was a fine CEO that was someone that instilled confidence until a few years ago. Then he seemed to step back and check out. Those last few years will be his legacy here, driving a once great company off a cliff.
@ad Here is my brilliance. You offer only stones and insults. Attempt to offer reasonable solutions. I didn't insult anyone. I just pointed out what I see so much on here is that everyone seems to know how to run the company better than anyone that is currently running the company.
@a8 not the bean counter
Don't have a specific name. Never conducted a candidate search. Not part of my duties. I know enough to be confident in the accuracy of my original post.
Why don't you follow your own advice and break down the ways that this will be a net positive for the employee base.
I'll be waiting for your brilliance.
Early spring cleaning. Explains cutting the fat with massive layoffs. Maybe Cordani didn't meet the criteria of key strokes and screen time which is enforced for the people doing the actual work. Cordani's net worth is around 180 million, Evanko will make even more over the years. One of the announcements says CIGNA is trying for help lower costs of healthcare which is complete BS. What a joke. The worst part of this 'plan' is they fire people who are incredibly talented because they are seasoned and earn more money than less talented lower paid peers.
By the way, did you know he runs triathlons?
Meh. They’re just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
Was DC also laid off 😁
@a7 Please enlighten us as to who you would replace DC with?
same sh-t, different a--hole
all this means is that Cigna is rearranging the furniture
@a2 that’s because Cigna’s leadership is inbred. Keeping it in the family. At least it’s not DP.
@OP Evanko? You mean the same guy that didn’t know we were way over budget last year? That guy? We’re so sc--wed.
Nope.
I don’t expect any meaningful change.
