People are already on lists from now until at least Nov 2026. Do not give your physical or mental health up for a job at BNY. Go to the office, work on your resume and start your job search.
@br ya straggler was used for lack of a better word. Not the employee fault. A ton of talent is being thrown awaybc of this. Meant straggler as in havent been laid off yet after location closurer. The fact these individuals made it this far probably speaks to how important they are to their teams.

We can't get promotions because we have no future here, not because we're WFH. I'm not being insensitive, just realistic.
@bt actually they are holding that status against us. Straight from sr mgmts own mouth. Notice how you cant get promoted, many got merit taken away etc. thats because they held wfh status against us. So read the room
@bt hey mo--n, as someone who is wfh and in mgmt im aware of far more than you. Instead of telling me read the room try reading period. Its called not be an insensitive a--hole and keep commenting as if wfh folks are the issue. So you can take your own advise.
@op what group and area do you work or you just making up to stress people out. Our group is already short staffed and team in India was whack now we help the do the task they took before they laid off 3 straight years in our group

They’re notorious for doing a huge round of layoffs right after Presidents Day(February 16th this year). So if they do another round of them, it’ll probably be around that time.

@br Surely by now you must understand that they closed our offices with the full intent of laying us off?? They aren't 'holding WFH against' us, eliminating us was their plan the entire time.

Get out of banking and investing. And health care services. And telekom. And internet companies. Seems 90% of the same posts for these industries on here. And RTO as prescribed to buy some more time. These jobs are moving away to Bangalore and Manila before AI kicks in. Am I the only one that knows this?
