US Cellular Folks Salary Cut

The US Cellular folks had a written guarantee of their full base salary to last until August 2026. They just cut their pay with no warning the first check of the year.

@be I can guarantee you’re terrible at your job, the projection is obvious. You’re absolutely the coworker everyone hates and calls an arrogant dou--e that overcompensates. Fingers crossed you lose your job, I’m sure you won’t be missed

@fq the people from Sprint enhanced what? They are nothing more than leeches that came from a failed company in which they were failures. T-Mobile has taken on too much garbage, both from Sprint and now US Cellular. Both failures. Time to take out the trash and start the layoffs with those two groups of slugs.

@be tell us how you really feel. Luckily most Tmo reps aren't as stupid as you. The ppl from Sprint have enhanced the company and culture tremendously. Unlike you who cries in bed 😭 screaming Come Back John.

No US Cellular employee took a pay cut. In fact, their pay remained the same when their job titles changed to T-Mobile named titles about two months ago. T-Mobile should just lay them all off and save a ton in OPEX. No severance for those who have only been here since August. If they do get severance, they are eligible for pay based on their employment start date with US Cellular. The US Cellular employees I have come in contact with contribute NOTHING

Those worthless tu-ds were overpaid and under skilled! They need to dump this along with the Sprint trash. Both groups have brought the company nothing but liabilities

So reduce salary by 5% and immediately lose their jobs? Wow. Nice way to get rid of a bunch of overpaid people from a legacy Tier 2 carrier.

USC employees had it written in their contracts that a 5% pay decrease would make them immediately eligible for severance. I haven’t heard any instances of their pay being decreased yet. Be interesting to hear what positions this was.

You might that that as a termination, as the terms of your employment contract have changed, and you are owed severance. You'll have to check with a lawyer. If you accept this over several weeks or months, you can't do that.
