Z wont last once it’s known he spent $40M on an OKTA contract that we can’t use. Bet Tommy doesn’t know about that one.

Kamal will stick it out here until he gets his CIO position outside of the company. Until then good luck to all. IT is running rogue and is only focused on their kingdoms; not the 3.5% growth goal.

Nailed it.

If you ain't rubber stamping the Z-Man and his circus clown Kamal you better update your resume and hit the road.

Until it become obvious even to our clueless senior management that they've been sold another bottle of snake oil by yet another con man, then Z and K carnival will fold up tents and leave town.

You gotta think about how Jeff left. He was well liked, been with the company for years and has a good reputation. When he departed there was not a peep, usually you'd have a glowing email out from Tom or other SVP's thanking him for his years of service, good luck for the future, etc. There was nothing at all. The word on the street is he was bold enough to say no to the nonsense that Zulfi is implementing, so he had to go. The Z-man tolerates no dissent or disagreement.

Now consider you're a CISO or aiming for a CISO position, you're going to be clued in enough to know the situation at Allstate, how your position is not going to be independent, how you have to essentially say "yes boss" to the Z-man.

We all know the mess that OBD is causing and where it's going to lead, as an aspiring CISO would you want the associated personal reputational damage the inevitable is going to cause you. You'll be the scapegoat when it does happen, and you'll never work again.

We have one, the Queen Bee Z of the OBD hive. He ain't relinquishing that. So security doesn't matter any more which is insane for an insurance company.

Has anyone actually noticed a difference?
I guess big M really was the one pulling all the strings.
