VBO - Back On The Table?

Head count reductions are coming. HR is looking at span of control again. This always leads to HC reductions. Last time they did this, they had the first VBO.

I think the VBO will be offered again in 2026.

Here we go again. Everyone get revived up for vbo rumors. Get ready for / they do it every 4 years, I heard it from my friend in OPS who heard it from their barber's sister in law. From now until March the drumbeat will start. I personally hope it does happen so the folks who missed out or chose to stay because they weren't quite ready can take the money and run like I did

@bq underpay?

I’ve been at Fidelity for about 4 years and my base pay has increased by 50% and my bonus has gone from 15% opportunity to a 25% opportunity.

Plus profit sharing and 401k as percentages of that total. Plus shares.

Sure, Fidelitys BASE might be on the low side but when you add everything else on top, it’s hard to argue pay is low.

If you’re stuck in a role that isn’t paying well, maybe you need to take some accountability or look at that big picture.

Big picture is that Fidelity is a very generous employer.

Not going to happen.
Attrition on the rise due to current measures being taken.
