Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

Gail's resignation / successor

If Gail steps down or retires, who do you think will take over?

I don't care who it is as long as it's not Felicia. She too ratchet.

Bring in the English guy that UHC fired. He cannot be any worse.

I WISH Ken G but I think he wants out of the spotlight. I have heard it's PH and was supposed to be announced last month.

Post from TheLayoff.com

Kenny G is an American composer and saxophonist. Oh, different Kenny G.

Head of CBSD prior to Haytaian. Probably the smartest guy we have had at Wellpoint/Anthem,

But WHO is Kenny G?!

Very interesting that my "Kenny G" comment was deleted. Perhaps that one struck a nerve close to the solution. For what it is worth, he would be the best possible replacement for the company and the welfare of the associates.

No chance that she gets replaced. The Board is in her pocket

I believe it will be an external pick. Look at the last 25 years and the odds.

Pete would seem logical and honestly the one who knows the business best. Other could not lead this company.

I would imagine that the CEO position would get offshored.

There is no chance whatsoever someone internal will become CEO.

If they don’t already have someone in mind they will launch a national search.

The same board who brought us the rat? I shudder to think what filth they'd find and drag in.

Lots of resignations of good talent if PH is the successor- he can’t be trusted. If you think it’s bad now and he is CEO, just wait. He blames everyone and is only focused on advancing himself… never leads. He can fool some people though but we SEE him .

Pete is the front runner. Headed up CSBD and GBD before, so he understands the business. I've heard from several people over the years that they thought he was being groomed to take over the CEO role eventually.

If the Board of Directors is smart they will go external. The culture has been completely trashed by Gail and her United Healthcare learned ways. We definitely do not want her flunky Haytaian in the seat. This guy is a total narcissist who has made a career out of kissing his bosses as--s and telling them how everyone else is a problem.
