It once did. The ELT has rendered it meaningless.
Every company has its trite statement of ethics. It's a PR exercise. Literal propaganda. It means nothing.

Yeah, that pamphlet ya’ll just printed and hand delivered is worthless. What this company’s ELT has done, especially MW, over the past few years demonstrates what you truly stand for. Words on a piece of paper are meaningless. Actions matter. So you can take your Chevron Way and shove it firmly where the sun don’t shine. Oh, BTW, I don’t need a pamphlet to tell me how to be a decent human being, so I will continue to be that, regardless of our ELT’s complete and total lack of a moral compass.
