Heard internally 14th was layoffs - 15th comp day. What is everyone hearing?

With the way things are going in the economy and job market, I’m just staying “on the train” until they kick me off lol.
@bp roughly 10k of the original 20k goal was already tackled in prior rounds of layoffs the last 1-2 years. so roughly 9k would remain in 2026 after this latest round of 1k.

@b6 the question was around the layoffs reported this week circa 1k. not if layoffs are done for citi in general.
Does anyone know for sure as to how close we are to that 20K number?
Just a thought, not a happy thought but this 1,000 is just the beginning this year. We have a long way to go to get to the 20k Jane promised 2 years ago by the end of 2026. Almost comes down to close to 1,000 per month for 2026.
