It's horrifying the amount of cliques and preferences seen in Centene. Almost 5 years and I have seen them get rid of wonderful, committed people while promoting people who worked more on getting on their good side than on ever helping our members and providers. I used to boast about how proud I was of working with Centene but it turns out the leadership that we were left with cares nothing about their people unless they were personal and friendly with them, they care about themselves only. However I have faith it all works out for the best... just be extremely careful.

Post ID: @boe+1aVqTQpM business relationships are just that, based on business, including doing a good job and trying to mentor along the way. When you do a great job, are nice and help others, but don't suck up to the boss that is not a business relationship, it is a clique like you'd find in junior high. Unfortunately, most of the management that partakes in promoting friends and family vs the folks actually doing the work, truly should not be in those jobs. This company is management heavy to start with, and more than half of them not being qualified, is really a bad situation. Them and their tag along buddies all need to go.
You are right, no matter what they try to make you believe, building cliques instead of working together and actually caring about what you do is Not the right way to go. I've seen them keep their friends and boyfriends and get rid of older, more qualified employees, those with medical conditions and even pregnant employees regardless how likable they were. I also was proud of working here until I saw who they really are.
Building relationships in business is success principle 101 .. people like to work with people they like ...
