He was probably one of the worst people I have ever worked with.
DB has a terrible reputation — anyone saying otherwise clearly hasn’t worked with him. Let’s not forget, he was deeply involved during the Dan Schneider era and played a role in keeping things quiet. The only reason he’s likely out now is because BR isn’t around anymore to shield him and keep those secrets hidden.
Bittler is a class act. He always seemed to have a deep sense of what mattered and what didn't, even amid all the crazy.
@bq He also excelled at being skeptical about something or simply not on board with an idea without even a hint of withering dismissiveness. Wry but never mean or shifty. That is a trait and a skill that far too executives possess.
@bn comms is most valuable when you have crisis situations and he exceeded at these. You don’t know what they do until you really need them. He was a steady hand and could guide both crisis and day to day. Also just could level set and bring people to reality when they are being pressed by crazy talent, etc. again, you often see him shine brightest if you had an issue, but he was working all the time.
Never understood what comms does
Super great guy. Would’ve been a huge asset to new management. Perfect example of how badly these takeovers are done.
Is PK out?
@as Bittler is an absolute icon. You sound extremely immature and ignorant.
End of an era. I was heart broken when I received his email.
