@py Not the poster but I think the point is that if the predatory credit practices that have been inflating executives' salaries for decades is capped (and by no small yield in this instance), they won't be able to RIF their way out of it by cutting the small fries. Heads will need to roll at the top of the house and for once, the executive comp structure will have to be reevaluated, for efficiencies of course.

TL;DR
We're all f'd regardless. S hi t runs downhill.

@a8 unsure how that logic makes sense to you on a layoff site… the bank makes its money one way or another. The reaction is “ok save money on capacity through role eliminations”. Congrats, you proved your point 😏 hardly worth celebrating

@fj please point out where I said they weren’t talented people or that they deserved to be let go. I simply stated less than 20 ppl isn’t a bloodbath. If you can point out where my information was wrong, please do so. If not, kindly GFY.

Yet. The ai coe who adds zero value gets millions thrown at them. It is a joke. Especially when the head is at conferences bashing his own bank. Glad I moved to dev elsewhere.

@eh And how would you know the exact number? Keep outing yourself for the corporate dou--ebag you are. Many of the people impacted were hardworking, talented, good people who were sacrificed for no good reason at all while total d-mbfuxks still remain at the company. The company has no idea how to use its talent properly.

Laid off. Remote. Did not get an NI, so they aren’t just targeting the NI. Other remote employees in my group were not laid off, yet, at least. I know of people not laid off, yet, in grades higher than me who do little to nothing but butt kiss and stay besties with their a-s kissing culture vulture managers. This company su-ks, as do its managers, so I’m going with this is for the best. Cheers to all of us who get to reinvent ourselves now!

CPS is a bloodbath. I wish nothing but the best for those impacted. You deserve better than this, you are better than this organization and it’s failed leaders, and you always were. 🙏🏽

Maybe Trump is right for making the request for 10% cap on credit cards because I see the high ups heads exploding with this and they are running around like sick puppies. Good karma is a bi--h 😊
