Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Layoffs = Outages

ATT layoffs - wide scale outages
VzW layoffs - wide scale outages

  • Srini aka DT is playing with fire on this round.
  • His team is propped up by McKinsey and is too far removed from the day-to-day.
  • They get on calls and get told what they want to hear. However, the teams telling them what they want to hear are cutting massive corners and shoving skeletons in the closet.
  • Really bad days will come and McKinsey will have already been paid millions in OpEx.

McKinsey gets to walk away having already gutted this company.

Saw, Salim, and Lori are emboldened and too heavy-handed. Saw and Lori will check out in 2-3 years though, so what do they care.

Yeah, there is a decent chance they crash the whole company.

Not necessarily the cause but I couldn't help thinking during that big Verizon Outage yesterday that maybe it took them so long because they didn't have enough people or the right people in position to identify and fix the issue quickly.

maybe in dia can bring back the customers.... maybe it can do something about the ceo getting really really mad that his in dia employees lost all that money due to laziness. IN dia is the most lazy of all. no caring of work ethic or even behond eating in dia food.
