@b2 i was told if you were contracted through January or even feb it didn’t matter they would wrap everyone end of November. But this is just a rumor. Every single thing you hear or read is a rumor. Until they actually tell us there’s no use in worrying.
It su-ks but it sounds like staff is the prime layoff and us contractors will be held I guess to finish projects.

@az can you clarify what you heard? Meaning all contractors, regardless of their end date, are staying on through end of Nov. and then contracts are ending?
I just heard contractors might be staying on through end of November even if their managers are laid off next week and no one knows who they’d report to sooooo
I manage employees who are in an union. According to their contract, if there's any lay off, our department is supposed to get rid of the contractors first before letting for the FTEs.
In these types of layoffs, it has no relevance.
