@OP Dude, having been where you’ve been I can definitely say you need to let it go. This site doesn’t have any influence over anything. By design, it’s a site to share rumors about layoffs. It’s not meant to be an outlet for your frustration. There are many years ahead for F5 and many happy, well-adjusted employees there. Nothing you say here will change that. Layoffs happen. The sooner you move on, the sooner you move on.
I hope highly educated professional has a mind of their own! It has always been a 2 ways street. You lay off a company you hate working for or you are laid off. It's a business decision and an Employment at Will.
You must really be upset about losing your F5 job, to spend this much time here. When someone drops you, a company, a boyfriend or girlfriend - do you obsess over it or move on? Clearly, you obsess over it. You definitely have a lot of growing to do as a well adjusted adult.
Maybe start with AA.
