You are exactly right. Bill is the worst CEO in the United States right now. Wait until stable coin pays interest on cash. Bye bye bank deposits. Bill will have to pony up his own cash to lend out. Maybe that will check his artificial ego and Freudian frog throat.

More food for thought from analysts:

Critics who take a more bearish stance focus on the longer term context that earnings declined at about 32% per year over five years while non performing loans moved from US$1.4b in Q4 2024 to US$1.6b in Q4 2025, and argue that even with the company profitable over the last 12 months, investors should pay attention to how a loan book of roughly US$330.5b interacts with this level of problem credits.
They point to the combination of a five year earnings decline and non performing loans above US$1.5b for much of FY 2025 as a reason to question how durable recent profitability is if credit costs rise.
They also note that analysts expect trailing style revenue and earnings growth of about 3.8% and 3.2% per year, which they see as modest against the backdrop of this credit profile.
Skeptical investors often use this mix of slower long run earnings and a US$1.6b non performing loan balance as a reminder to stress test their own expectations against potential credit swings before making any decisions.

@bf+1kfg9n9jw You obviously don’t pay attention. The stock getting back previous days losses isn’t the point. Where the stock is today versus post merger and its piers is the point. It was north of 60$ per share post merger and has NEVER reached that again. PNC is an equal super regional. Their stock was 96$ in 2020, today it is 225$. Tell me what a great job SunTruist leadership and BOD have done for shareholders. I’ll wait……….

Stock price is up $1 so I do not care what he has to change, just keep that going up and he won’t be leaving anytime soon.

No idea what the OP was trying to say much like Bill and his id--ts have no idea what their continued word salad means. 2027, momentum, purposeful growth, 15% ROTCE. Remember after merger they told the world this number was going to be mid 20%. Every two years Bill has a new plan so 2027 will be the next major remake of SunTruist. That will be SunTruist 5.0 by then, right?
