@bj+1kj5mftyj , businesses should always be analyzed by the most highly qualified individuals. To check if a job requires ”technology skills”, review the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code. Using the ”Business Analysis Manager” LCA Case Number I-200-25093-828628 as an example, do the following:
- Open the LCA
https://h1bgrader.com/h1b-sponsors/t-mobile-usa-inc-okprrrn124/lca/2025/lca-details/I-200-25093-828628
In the LCA, find the SOC code; 2. SOC (ONET/OES) code 15-2051.01
Do a simple Google search on the code and click the ONET link
https://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/15-2051.01
Expand ALL the sections
The
”Technology Skills”section has 51 competencies“Wage/Prevailing Wage” and other information is on the bottom of the page
Don’t rely on the job title, always check the SOC. Hope this helps.
you have to be sore looser to try to come back to T-mobile. You already got the best you could by getting the severance. Now just go somewhere else.
If you accept severance there isn’t any coming back. They will seek you out if they need you.. otherwise friend, don’t wast your time!
@az Really? Why are there so many "Business Analysts" on the H1B list? I think businesses can be analyzed by US citizens.
@ba Why even attempt to go back? They already labeled those laid off (myself included) as no longer wanted. Otherwise they would have offered us different positions. They’re dead to me as they should be to you.
@OP what department/org/position?
If you were rejected that fast, it's most likely automated and sounds like you were labeled as "Not Eligible for rehire".
@af+1kj5mftyj , the minimum requirement for an H-1B visa is a bachelor’s degree. The majority of H-1B visas are for technology-related positions. It does not appear that @OP+1kj5mftyj has a degree, and does not work in technology/network.
maybe depends on the position? bc i reapplied and a week later had a recruiter reach out (frontline)
Those are fake openings to be filled by H1B replacements.
Hi good morning I work for T-Mobile I myself applied for 19 different internal positions was denied it seems like they are doing ghost job posting to make the company look like it is financially stable when they are not new CEO has destroyed T-Mobile and the families who used to work for them
With all of the layoffs still in full swing it’s likely that the position is closed or on hold. Lots of open reqs have been removed / frozen internally & waiting until the new landscape gels.
Whatever you apply for make sure your resume meets all of the key requirements because ATS will kick you out quickly
Also, use internal contacts to help you with internal roles. Insiders are gold these days.
