Still remember the mass layoffs and the Chuckster sends an email stating ‘best place to work’.. 5th one in a row

I still remember the all hands where one of our leaders acknowledged the burnout going on and encouraged people to go for a walk to blow off some steam

I'm awake at 3am and reading through this. The pressures and how disconnected our teams are is hard to not wake up at 3am. Sad to sad, I've never felt like this. But this thread helps me get through so thanks for the laughs.

Cisco is especially bad at stuff like this. Like they couldn’t care less about our mental health. Heck all of the backstabbing and bs from leadership… how would anyone NOT have brain damage at this point? 😂

I agree, Cisco is not good company

some of the folks who got booted out can't accept reality. some have gone mental and are permanently unemployable.

This is a global trend, not Cisco-specific. Cisco is just on the bandwagon. It's what happens when a demographic with a 30-40% probability of being on anti-depressants gets to Leadership across companies & countries. Indulgence of mental weakness leads to societal decay. We're close to rebounding in the US.
