Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Can we bring Richard back?

Can we bring Richard back already and get rid of the Temu CEO? What would it take to make this happen?

It was nice to have a leader who led with humility, grace, and reason. One who cared about his employees. Bring back the old white guy!

Gunjan is a failed leader. She ran WM with an iron fist and her bad behavior was legendary.

She ducked up in her first town hall. Many of us thought she would learn. She has not.

When the ship goes down, the captain must take responsibility.

I’m a PROUD American of Indian heritage so I assure you this is NOT a race related issue. Satya Nadella is awesome and he’s awesome because he’s awesome. Doesn’t matter what race or origin he is. Gunjan is a failure. Don’t care if she were Indian or Martian.

She does make my tribe look bad - does anyone want to make her an honorary Martian or … wait a Uranusian … lol

@bh pretty sure he's on the board of directors at Wells Fargo now, so you don't actually want to go where he is

You all never worked with Richard. He didn't remember names; he didn't get to know you unless you were one of his favorites. He thought everyone should be in the office ALL the time. He was good at painting a caring picture and telling you a story to warm the cockles of your shriveled hearts. He was a great speaker, but not the flexible, caring leader you all seem to remember.

I had far too many photos with Richard, he was EVERYWHERE that employees were. The heart association partnership was THE BEST!

Sad those days are gone…

Employees would line up early to be up front in every venue where he spoke. Always a packed house as well. Incredible leader

I’d rather go where he is.

I wish he could come back too, but unfortunately I think he's happily retired. I had some criticism of of him, such as forced 2 week furloughs in 2009 and paying $220M to put the company name on a stadium. But I later realized he was the best leader the company every had. When the industry went through the worst situation it had ever seen since the great depression, there were basically no layoffs. The employees actually liked him. They believed what he said. AND the stock actually outperformed peers during this time. Today we have constant mass layoffs, a CEO that is universally hated and an under-performing stock.

Yeah I miss him a lot. His leadership had me so committed to this place, and it's sad to see what it's become.
