People say they are busy, but they are busy being ineffective, and mostly playing the game of telling everyone they are busy. Swamped of course by endless emails chasing things for the 4th time which should have been automated long ago. You're stressed because you've taken on fighting things which anywhere else would just work. Impossible deadline are to be ignored. Plan properly! I am not running in a race I know I can't win because we're blocked from starting let alone finishing. Dates which nobody cared to discuss with us have already been missed is not my problem to resolve, and nothing changed on that deadline. There's no bonus or pay rise either way. So I and the vast majority are not incentivised. Some other muppet who still believes it's just a blip and pay rises will come in the new year will run about like a headless chicken flapping enough to convince the project there is progress and that's all they care about.

What accounts and roles can get away with doing nothing?
Applications projects full on, more work than you can possibly do, impossible deadlines, stress everywhere, I'd happily slack off but no chance.

FOOLS - workers or management?

Anyone who's using up the holiday they bought but didn't take until this week, but are just at home "getting ready for Christmas". Those of us still in won't be doing much, because there's nobody around to fix anything. My laptops broken. I bet they can't fix it this year! And that's how I'm getting my bonus this year - 5 more days off for free. Our id--t of management can't see that because there's no pay awards, there's absolutely no incentive to even pretend to do a good job anymore and everyone left if just taking the company for what's left while it still exists.

I thought todays email in the UK about financial well being was just plain offensive and tone deaf. Telling us how every penny counts and that we can save money through cashback schemes and not to splurge on payday etc, etc was just rubbing salt in to an open wound

Amazing how drumguwal and Jimbo Brady sent out messages acknowledging the hard work of the folks but make up excuses when it comes to pay.

They think folks can survive on thin air year after year without raises. How far from reality they are, thier words have little meaning unfortunately.

If only they cared for the people and thier families, instead of thier greed.

our wonderful AI Infused Platform-X has predictive capabilities and has already made recommendations for 2024-5 and 2025-6 and yes, you've guessed it, bonuses only for Mikey2 and the Accenture failures/rejects - it cannot predict 2026-7 because there doesn't seem to be a DXC at that time ...
