Work your hours and go home. Take your vacation days and actually disconnect. Hit the gym. See your friends more often. Learn something new so you're not stuck here forever. And talk to real people, not just LinkedIn connections.

@bf Unfortunately those clowns are the connections needed to land other jobs.
It's Facebook for the Corporate Clown Car and is as important as a Resume.
It's who you know, not what you know. It's about what you accomplish, not what you learned.
The job market is garbage, and unfortunately it's fueled by the clown fiesta that is LinkedIn.
This is the best advice I have seen anyone give on here. Everyone needs to remember Verizon is a means to an end. You are already giving them 30-40% of every waking hour of your life. That is enough. Do not let your employer occupy one second more of your time than that. Set boundaries. The best thing anyone can do is make sure they have a 2-3 year emergency fund. Meaning you can’t cover your missing take home pay for 2-3 years. If you don’t make enough to save that then Verizon is not compensating you enough to even afford financial security, or you’re bad with money management. If it’s the former, again why do you owe them any more than doing your deliverables and going home. Remember your phone had a do not disturb mode and they cannot force you to download Whatsapp.
@OP LinkedIn is not Facebook some of the clowns on there wtf
