Did this impact the state plan roles?

Go look at state level filings. They sure are. With their own reserves, not inclusive to hcscs to protect the corp reserves.
@bd And those plan presidents report to someone with the title HCSC Markets. All I’m saying is that BCBSIL/BCBSTX are not their own entities anymore
I think you’re confused.
Some jobs/employees are state level roles under discretion of the local plan president. Example the medicaid van teams.
Other jobs such as Medicaid ops support several states and fall under an enterprise umbrella, not under direct control of the state plan President.
@at I think you should look at your own words. “Teams that support state plans.” I’m trying to be helpful here, not argumentative. Sure, you may be an HCSC employee assigned to support a product in a particular market, subject to the regulations of that state. You are not an employee of that product.
@OP Yes, it hit the Texas plan.
@a3 Wrong. You obviously don't know what you're talking about! Teams that support state providers, and employer groups are state specific. Many never being multi state.
@ag I suggest studying the org chart when it’s available again
@ag sure I trust someone who quotes Adam Sandler movies for my information. Cute that you think IFM and government programs are the only other divisions at this 30,000+ employee company
Commercial network and sales operates at the state level. All decisions are at the local level as opposed to IFM and gov programs.
Everyone in this room is now d-mber for having listened to you. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
To think there are even such a thing as “state plan roles” at this point is silly. HCSC has been clear that they are moving to one company that happens to have BCBS plans in five states but aspires to have HealthSpring plans in all 50. There’s no such thing as BCBSIL employees and BCBSTX employees. People in leadership don’t think about it this way anymore so employees in should stop thinking of themselves that way.
