When the layoffs have been occurring have the meetings been in the morning or afternoon historically?

Is anyone getting severance pay and if so, how much?
They sent an invite to 20 of us for a meeting. We logged in and were told all in under ten mins that we were being let go and we can log out right after the meeting, No empathy at all they said we know this is difficult but we need you to log off. Oh but you guys can reapply for other opportunities.
They’ve called my personal phone. The call didn’t go through and when I tried to call back I had no code to enter. This has to be the most unprofessional place I’ve worked. My manager is an id--t and I’ve really been tired of her. I would like to work with people who actually know more than I. No opportunities for growth. I have to say, I’ve never been written up, audits all between 97-100%, my previous reviews were exceeds and meets expectations. They’re on a witch hunt for people. Get away from this toxic place and work somewhere else with competent leaders and kinder management.
Get out of Hellevance as soon as you can! No matter what they say on these Town Hall calls, they will continue to let people go and f__k up this company more and more!

If you are on leave, how did they schedule the meeting? Did they send it to your personal email or call your personal phone?
Mine in January was in the late morning, but it was my regular scheduled 1:1 with my boss. Or so I thought, anyway.
They change it up now because it was very predictable. You never know when to expect it now.
Only contractors or FTEs?
If you have a 1:1 tomorrow for a quick call you are getting let go.

What are they saying in these meetings? Tomorrow is your last day? I’m on leave and they scheduled a meeting with me. Very cryptic.
