I believe the vote NO is growing. As some locals have come out against this extension. Do you really think this agreement will get voted down? I see both sides arguments. Either way, make your voice heard.

@ap what did we lose?
Obviously one person here furiously upvoting the heck out of the no vote comments. Dude, f you're going to try to skew the votes, at least try to keep it realistic :)
@j3 A wise ,well educated ( in life)person knows when to fight .He or she is well aware of thier current situation and current environment. We learn to adapt to said situations so we can live to fight another day. We are not "weak" . We know how to survive.
@hy the only reason we fail is weak membership like you guys
Corrupt incompetent leadership and s@ckless membership are our downfall
@g4 you are correct. With the world facing proverbial world war 3, the world economy in shambles and trust me is only going to get worse. Take it! If we go on strike ,loose a half year of pay and in the end ,end up with less then what we were offered, what's the point. At that point the labor secretary would get involved, Google her, that won't end well for us! Its a strong yes for me! With a union hating administration it will end badly!
Voting yes.
Stop living under the old Nynex Rock, we are not there anymore.
Boston and Manhattan/Bronx see it as a step in the wrong direction. Possibly other less vocal areas as well?
@ga Gok get GED. Gok learn speek gud.
Yes. Only fool most likely not willing to hold the line will whine would rant about this. Guy probably never even struck before, has big man complex, likely short and I would not doubt a southerner. The deal is relatively good for the times. You can still easily make a buck fifty a year. You are nuts OP, at minimum you need counseling. Seek help.
To everybody who simply posted "NO":
Can you please repost here about what is driving you to vote this way?
I'm curious about what is motivating people.
Thanks in advance.
Read the tea leaves. If it comes to a strike the current political landscape consists of nothing but Republicans with no sympathy for your working class butt. This includes the current NLRB too. Do you want to strike for 6 months and then have to settle for nothing more than was just offered? Gotta vote Yes.
@ap What are you losing?
This isn't Ivan or Lowell, Dan will hire 3rd party before u @$$ hits the door on 8/1.
They not even release all the details
Is mlk and Juneteenth regular holidays?
Every single contract, everyone says they're voting no, yet they all pass, so who cares what you're voting
I vote no to the contract
And no to the leadership
We need a revolution
H€LL NO!
I’m orange and I say NO!!!!!!
@bp. You couldn’t just say YES or NO? Now we have to hear about orange people? And somehow you have the statistics of 75/25?
Maybe you should read more and see that everyone on here is mostly a NO besides the trolls.
It will pass 75/25. I'm not defending the company but the skyrocketing cost of medical is not a Verizon/CWA problem, it's a whole damn country problem. Whether left or right we should be demanding our politicians fix this. I heard the orange man has a concept of a great plan which he will put out any day now! /s
NO WAY!
NO
I'm a no
A bunch of the guys I work with are "no" too. They don't come here though
@be what exactly are we backsliding on?
No more back sliding
We need to get our dues worth
NO!!!!!!
I’m a NO
I will be voting yes! And it will pass by a wide margin. Its a good deal. Move on!
NO!
We should all just respond YES or NO. No need for any explanation. Just say YES or NO.
I see you got a few likes on this thread, I guess if there are less than 10 total votes, you might have a chance in turning down this contract. I am so worried. Lol. Find a pacifier, insert, and quit your whining!
@ar Talking about the contract does not equal asking for votes. We are allowed to talk about it weather you like it or not.
@mods, can you please delete this thread for violating your ToS

Definitely voting "no" , we keep on losing more every contract
No in NY
Its a good deal , Im voting yes . You have a choice and nobody is forcing you to work at VZ if you don't like the contract. 1/2 hr of pay a day to make sure everyone in your family is covered by any unfortunate health crises seems reasonable.
Take your 1% and be happy.
Passes with flying colors.
I’m voting no
