More than a few people are advising those of us despairing at the prospect of not getting a payout to wait for 2026 (the year of the horse) and the true second phase. Will that be the year those of us who just sit and wait finally get to bolt? In other words, if we are unlucky this year, will 2026 bring the $$$?

Stop spreading rumors
@c9+1js3ymkq5, im thinking Africa. Should be an emerging center of IT and engineering knowledge at that point.
Look what’s happening with Valero
In ENGINE We Trust
@c9+1js3ymkq5, it will be called CHECK ENGINE
@bv+1js3ymkq5
Until it is not.
Let's see in 4-5 years when ENGINE becomes TOO EXPENSIVE.....and ANOTHER transformation happens. How would they call it? SUPER ENGINE? ROCKET SPACE?
Where does CVX go then? China?
Just here to help guys

This person posts the most negative comments about other posters who are Chevron employees. I cannot imagine this guy being a Chevron employee in any point in his life. WTF!
Get back to work. If you were as creative at your job as you are on this forum you would have nothing to worry about.
@bq+1 - CVX is by far the second-largest oil company in the USA. XOM is the only company large enough to take CVX over. The FTC would never approve the merging of the two largest oil companies. CVX is not going bankrupt, either. Investors love CVX because of the dividends. Warren Buffett is the 2nd largest stockholder. It's amazing how many CVX employees know nothing about the company they work for.
Fake. No one has said that. BTW, Hess employees get a min of 1.5 years.
It's over. If CVX doesn't buy anything, then somebody will buy CVX. I've been on other companies that went bankrupt and I remember how it went. What's happening now at CVX is the beginning of that phase.....
If you wait until 2026 then your job is offshored as they already told us for the next 3 years, they’ll cut the max to 6 months and you’d work for free
