@jt low effort comment , people like you should be the first ones on the list
@fv then you can bet you are the next one
Slack totals show some layoffs definitely happened around Apr28 in EMEA. EU and UK probably got gardening leave and not immediate disconnect from Slack like IDC and NA.
"it was based on score rating - performance"
Bovine ...
I was also impacted on Tuesday, April 28th, along with my entire team and one additional colleague, five people let go in a single Zoom call. What a way to treat employees after 10+ years of service.
It wasn’t performance based. I’m on zero for this FY and I wasn’t impacted.
It looks like due to the restructure in apps that teams are being cut across sales…
@fr manager here , it was based on score rating - performance
@ef I'm pretty sure that it's been stated that employee performance wasn't a factor in selection.
More likely it's the expensive employees with large RSU holdings.
@dx yes but loads of cr-p really.
I got 4 (above expectation) in every criteria (collaboration, mastering complexity, etc) and they state that those with low score are selected to be redundant.
I guess I need to score all 5 (above and beyond) to survive.
@ds sorry to hear this. Did they give you a reason and selection criteria used to ensure fairness of the process?
My Slack has been deactivated around 4pm UK time (Yes, I’m impacted).
My colleague told me that uk-employees-all Slack channel users have gone down approx 500 people (It was 3706 on Monday).
My enhanced package is approx 5 months.
The only troll here is @OP, saying "all is fine" likle Baghdad Bob.
Previous cycles it has been generous on the enhanced. Has that changed?
@bd I think that was the point
@c2 I would put it at bare minimum legal requirement they could get away with (notice/redundancy) + very roughly I'd guess almost 2 week ish (base pay) per year . They don't clarify how the additional is worked out so it could be front loaded and less per year .
@bk it was decent but it wasn’t that much
And it’s capped
@bk any insights would be much appreciated.
@bj what’s the package being offered? I also heard it was 30 day consultation, then 90days notice, then 1 month per year severance - is that not correct?
I got hit :/ What do we think of the settlement? I thought i heard previous people got a month per year not anywhere near that.
There are 500+ going in the UK.
I certainly got the details of my package, including the
"At Risk of Redundancy FAQ April 2026.pdf" file and
"EAP Overview UK 2026.pdf" and
"Right Management RightChoice 3 Programme.pdf"
Nobody is going to make up those file names.
This IS happening
At least we see some numbers, thanks @OP
2 in my team.
Trolling my ar*e. I’m one of those who’re impacted and I know at least 7 others who’re on the same boat.
My collegue in NS got fired.
Why are you trolling? I know of at least 7 and I’m sure it’s far more than that. Slack counts etc. aren’t the way to measure in UK - if you get the nudge today, you’ve got at least 30 days consultation before you’re actually gone.
I know at least 5 people that got the mail.
Stop trolling. I known about 4 just around me.
Sure... go away man
My collegue got the call.
