Guys I wouldn't actually prefer this I was just making a joke.

This was always going to happen, it's part of the transition, so no change at all. But that e-mail was a joke. Confidence in her leadership? Respect she holds among stakeholders? Understands the company's culture? Are you F'ing kidding me? Everyone hates her and she has done nothing good for this company.

The bank's competitors, particularly in the payments space are laughing out loud, as a once mighty payments machine is "transformed" into a marginal player with limited remaining expertise to run the business with, while WorldPay literally carries off whichever relationship, merchant or referral partners they want to pick up.

@bc I mean at least GK doesn't fluff us with acting like she cares. Andy was great at the false niceties. I guess I'd rather have someone that openly detests us than someone who pretends?

This is the next logical step in prepping for a merger. Unite/unify the board and decisions get rubber stamped. In addition to tracking the tail number of the corporate jet and how many times it goes to Boston, New York, and Pittsburgh, I would also pay close attention to write-offs over the next few quarters as we take out our trash in preparation for a deal.
