What is Dan even talking about in this all hands?? He seems so unprepared and is just talking in circles... he hasn't said one useful thing and is just patting the useless execs on their backs.

@bd That was definitely the most bizarre part of this caffeine-soaked fever dream. I don’t know why he bothered to tell us at the beginning that he didn’t prepare remarks; we all would have figured that out on our own three minutes in.
I got the axe two weeks ago. I’ve felt like sh-t since…until today. That goat-rope of an All-Hands made me realize that I’m lucky. You poor ba----ds have to ride this fever dream. Good luck and Godspeed.

@bz agree. Employee morale and culture has been completely decimated. People just want to do the bare minimum at work because they know they could be laid off next.
Glad I skipped it and spent the extra time at the gym since I am now unemployed. He wants to put customers first, but that starts with how you treat your employees and as of now most employees despise this company and will do the bare minimum.

@bw it's the truth. I was not impacted by the cuts, but a lot of my team was. People who I know inside and outside work dealing with serious issues and this made it worse. I hurt for them every single day and I know it's nothing like how they feel. I understand AI is the future, but it can never replace the human touch or empathy.
Please Please Please after the last day of some of our coworkers final day, continue to check on them. 10, 20, 30 days after. Most people only check in on the day or a few days after something bad happens. Continue to be good people and make sure those who we know have big battles to fight know they have somebody in their corner.

I'm going to be honest. The questions employees asked should have been answered. If you want to put employees first so they can put customers first, then it should be from the top down. The people that were laid off matter, we matter, and this meeting didn't feel like that.
Only one carrot at the end, you are allowed to be promoted if not in the 3 hub.
