I've heard we're safe for the rest of the month, how reliable is this?

LOL
"It’s an org Dell does not value" and 2/3 headcount reduction.
Ok that narrows it down almost all of ISG.
@bd there were 60 of us. Now 20. It’s an org Dell does not value. But a lot lifers were/are there. But they just hired 4 consultants I9’s amidst the continued layoffs.
How reliable? It depends. Who did you hear it from? What position do they hold at Dell?
The only day where that is true is the 32nd of each month.
I’m sorry to hear that. May I ask what group you were in, if you don’t mind me asking?
I was just laid off this week and I’m a lifer -over 30 years
In tech support, no job feels secure anymore. Between layoffs and PIPs used as a tool to force people out, there’s no real safe ground left in the company. I used to recommend Dell as a solid place to work, but I can’t say that now, its misplaced priorities and flawed strategies have made it completely unreliable.
There has not been one single day at Dell without a layoff. Layoffs follow the sun at Dell. You are only safe when it's dark.
You're either safe or you're not. Hope that clears things up
who did you hear it from?
