Specifically about Vegas

It certainly does seem to fit the time line that something spectacular happened in Vegas.

Having seen his temper before I suspect an in person meltdown where it was either so bad that nobody could overlook it or he raged at the wrong people and was deposed by a board vote.

I don't think amazon ever wanted to buy dxc. It makes no sense for them to do so.

@bcaa+1qIGVAGZ - very situationally astute observations with analysis of timelines. Need people like you to bring on the news to employees.

Could it be Sally turned down another deal? This time with Amazon and the board worked out the company is shrinking to 0 and mikey, Mary, and his ExA looters were just milking the company dry in the meantime?

"in my opinion, the decision, whoever made it, was done in only a 2-week period of time. Why do I say this? Well according to Linkdeln Salvino attended an executive team-building session in Las Vegas on November 19th followed by announcing a huge partnership with Amazon on the 20th. Then on December 4th a post on the Layoff.com was made indicating that Salvino was departing and the announcement would be made by the end of December which is what ended up happening. I think it's fairly obvious that Salvino did not expect to be departing the company on the 19th because why would he bother meeting with the whole executive team to discuss future strategy? Furthermore, if this was indeed a smooth transition why wouldn't the interim CEO have attended the team-building session? I speculate that something happened or at least came to light in Las Vegas which triggered the board to immediately let Salvino go. This is probably just a coincidence but Amazon's earnings will be on the same day as DXC's. Which is notable because 1. They held their AWS Re:invent conference in Vegas around the same time that the DXC executives were there. 2. They've met with the DXC Team 3.The AWS executives have been posting about DXC on LinkedIn. Could it be that AWS wants to buy DXC? Salvino certainly would've stood in the way of this having rejected 2 other buyout offers (for good reason) and although people will call me crazy it does make strategic and financial sense for Amazon. But then again I would've expected such news to have leaked with the Salvino departure news so probably not. That said I do think they're involved here somehow."

Quote from CEOworld.biz:
"Mike Salvino, serving as President and CEO of DXC, played a significant role amid substantial transitions. DXC Technology announced the resignation of its President and CEO on December 18, subsequent to the collapse of a potential acquisition deal involving the global IT solution provider. DXC announced its intention to consider both internal and external candidates for the permanent CEO role. DXC also announced David Herzog, the company’s lead independent director, as its new Chairman."

Will Sally spill the beans, one analyst view on why he may have left. Was he caught with Mary?

I'm not sure it says what you think it does. I suspect there is a lot more to the Salvino story than people realize. I'm still researching this but his departure and the timeline are highly suspicious. Think about it, if this is due to performance why would Salvino be fired a week before Christmas? Why couldn't this wait until the new year? I would think at the very least the board doesn't want to conduct an executive search through the holiday. My first thought was there were some sort of legal issues. But if that were true then the company wouldn't have allowed Salvino to make a statement in the press release. Furthermore, Salvino was just recently made Chairman of the board and hired several new board members who presumably would've been loyal to him. The company also reaffirmed its financial guidance for both the quarter and fiscal year so tentatively it looks like no huge bo--s there.

@1ust+1qIGVAGZ I thought there was a travel freeze? Guess that’s only for the people that really need to travel to support our customers.
