I was at the Columbus event. When they said “let’s move on to the important part,” it was in the context of shifting the presentation from company strategy and future plans to focusing on people and HR policies who were attending and honestly waiting to hear someone talk about people aspect of this merger.

If you are not actively looking for a job now, that is on you - its just a matter of time before this leadership team drives this company into distress. Once they strip down all the worth and sell the pieces, the "important people" will walk away with massive paydays and all of us will be simply thrown away.
