And when? I'd like to see how things have changed over the years.

Why care about raise when Intel is gonna do a mass layoff soon.
LBT has already signed agreements with India and Malaysia fabs that his own affiliated investment company invested.
Biggest raise when I left Intel 50%. you all know this
Team blue on Viagra. Ups vs Downs ? Downs win at INTC. COVID spoiled many.
All the downvotes of @ew looks like a lot of exempts in disbelief that a fab monkey makes more than them. And guess what? Tack on 18% more if they work nights.
This salary range is just enough to pay for Intel debt. Work harder guys to pay off Intel debts. You need to learn how to bullsh-t a lot to get higher raise and top positions here.
In Dr. Evil Voice: $1 Million Dollars!
28 percent. One year after New hire. Hired lower grade 52.
As a 57 tech, I make 145k without any over time work.
I'm telling the truth guys, believe me. Original poster need to boost the numbers
CWW is a normal work schedule for most Techs so yes, 120-125K is in the range for a high 57 without working any extra overtime beyond their work schedule. It would be even more if bonuses were still of any substance.
Extra one cup of free coffee and one banana per day
@e7 as a tech if u made 120k that's only cause OT hours and if u are grade 56 or 57.
G5 ranges are correct, average is 90k. Shittel pay. Even analog pays 100k-105k base for a G5.
@bc as a tech, this year I’m going to make about 120K so I think your ranges are a little off
Offers now for G5 is 115,000 in Oregon.
@be In Hillsboro for LTD-M (now F25) averages ~95-105k base for G5s in my anecdotal experience. I do think my department pays higher though for more expensive toolsets, I could see others being less.
@bd also PhD's are highly variant based on what they are hired and if they need visa. 120k is lower offer- can go up to 130.
But after that you have other levels of G8, 10.
The people i know with PhDs at Intel earn 120k-125k which is low but they need the visa.
@bd
I will not boost G5. This is coming from an engineer and family of engineers. They really pay low for those eng's even with masters and yrs of experience.
G5s average at 90k.
If you go to Texas the pay is way higher than this for G5's. Once you hit G5, that's the rock bottom unless you wanna work 60hrs and get that G6, worthless. Job hopping is the answer after hitting G5
On team of engineering on mfg, you will rarely see an G6, and they are just overworkers most of the time, putting in more than their required 40hrs work and ruining work life balance.
@bc I'd boost the G5-G7 eng estimates there, I know G7 phd new hires from last five years at 130k+ base. I'm G6 with a bachelor's and 6 years of experience at 110k base.
You wanna know?
Techs are paid in between 55k-80k
Grade 3, Eng's with degree, ETs, 0 experience= 75k-85k
Grade 5, Eng's with degree, likely masters+ 2-3 yrs experience= 85k-95k
Eng's on grade 6, degree + masters and 4+ industry yrs experience = 100k-110k
Grade 7, ones with PhD= 110k-125k
Grade 6 are rare on a team on mfg side. This is why all of those ppl are leaving Intel.
I actually have been keeping track. I'm hourly. Here's my % increase, starting in 2025 and going backwards:
6.5, 1.8, 0, 7.2, 0, 6, 2.2, 2.5, 2, 1.98, 2.5, 2.1, 1.9, 2.3, 1, 2.5, 2.5, 2.32, 0, 10.65, 9, 11, 2.3, 4, 0.
My math says this goes back to 2002.
The zeroes are during the 'no budget' years.
That's easy. Investing my ERP package in INTC at $18.
The highest raise is a layoff last year and this year alone. What change do you expect to see at this ShitTel OP ?
