Verizon Employees ("H-1B") Immigration Status??

Can Verizon afford to keep employees (not discussing VZ contractors) whom have H-1B Specialty Occupations eligibility? Forgone are the days of the minimal H-1B fees. With the new Sheriff in the Oval Office whereby raising the fee to $100k for eligible employees, paramount within Information Technology and predominantly from India.

The $100k fee is only for new applicants. It does not apply to HB1 already in the US.

they don't sell phone in India but have offices there. US firms don't care much about H-1. Jobs have already been moved abroad .

Would want Verizon to employ the best in class wherever they are from…but if they cost a lot and are not the best then…the answer is a very easy one
