Some are quite skeptical and do not believe that there will be more cuts soon. I hope they are right.

Cuts are definitely going to happen. We are only 2 weeks into Q3 and it will take some time to make those decisions but most that will be impacted are stores not producing a profit. All decisions will be made by 3/31. If your store is small or hasn’t produced a profit, you will be impacted. If your campus is a challenge to work with and isn’t produce 3X profit, you will be impacted. This isn’t a charity and we aren’t employing people for fun, this is a business and we WILL make a profit!

GVPs tell RMs. RMs tell us. Or we talk to OTC folks. Nothing is a secret. Project Move Forward coming to reality at Follett campuses near us in February. Labor hours we got also support this.
To the person waiting for severance. Don't hold your breath. Severance is given at the discretion of the company. Under previous mis-management, many long tenured employees (15+ years) didn't see a dime in severance. Consider that TL and his thanksgiving table made a lot of money off of those folks' efforts and ideas, that was really bad. Consider, too, current management is trying re-coup investment. How likely are they to say thank you for the many weeks of service by paying a severance?
Get a better job and don't look back.
To the person who said that there would be a mass reorganization of the store structures and massive layoffs of full-time employees where did you hear that information??
Project Moving On or something I heard. Has to do with mass reorg of store structure. Getting rid of most FTE, and making PT to be key holders. Along with centralizing everything buying wise cause our RCMS team is so amazing today.

My RM told me mass reorganization in Feb as they are leaving asap. They mentioned the weird secret name, but I don’t care and just want severance.
I'm assuming that there will be more cuts after rush is over. If they are running us this lean now, you figure they will cut even tighter when the sales slow down.
