I don't get the bootlicking for upper management here. These people pulling down 4x the standard paycheck are paid for one specific job: making the stock move. Since the numbers have been flat for five years, why are we acting like they’re untouchable? Look, nobody’s saying the job is easy, but that’s exactly what the massive salary is for. If they can’t handle the heat or deliver the goods, they shouldn’t be getting the gold star.

It seems you are underestimating how difficult of a job it can be as a senior leader.

Stock options are upside down. Multiple federal investigations for alleged behavior. And a workforce that continues to compare current state of culture to something incomprehensible to someone that’s only been here five years.

Probably as worried and frightened as the rest of you. Just have a shorter walk from the car to the office on the 2-3 days on campus.

Have some compassion.

100% agree. I think part of reasons is we created bunch of nonsense orgs/teams in the past and somehow those VPs were protected while the rest of team got dissolved during the consolidation. I am pessimistic about any changes in the near future because no one in the top has the ba--s to cut their buddies.

Also, we really need to hold those so called "leaders" accountable. One time I overheard a conversation between two Directors complaining about their Principal not coaching their Junior member. Are you f*cking kidding me? Y'all don't work on project, don't innovate and now don't even want to coach people? This world is wild.

In GT we have even 3 levels of VP in org tree. VP-> VP->VP and all come from India
