@gr I think this is Elliott Management’s idea. Those two directors. Might be good for the stock though.
@gg I report to a senior director who reports to a senior director and it’s so pointless. I don’t wish for anyone to be laid off especially in this economy but I kind of agree with this move… I’m afraid out of the two of them who would be kept and let go, because one is a great boss and leader, and the other one, well… I truly have no idea what they actually do.
Directors and up before NYE. Hang on. I have this word on a very strong word. Immediate focus is directors reporting to directors, VPs voting to VPs. Watch what will happen. Leaders impacted will also equate to teams being impacted next year. Just wait and see.
@ba I can not even begin to guess about the folks going to FIS. The page for them seems very active and they are on that Mckinly train too.
The only thing I know is that my manager is crapping their pants right now. Kept saying over and over in our meeting, i dont know who will have a job at christmas. Way to instill confidence.

Well Merry Christmas to you too GP. Funny, I remember one of our leaders telling us in a meeting back in March, the cuts were done for the year. This was jusy like last years cut. They need a dollar figure and they chopped certain top earners. Make X and your gone. But good old cameron will still get his bonus. That I promise you. Well we just got out of a team meeting and wete told that this is only the first wave of the cut. Next announcement is in a few weeks shortly after Q1 start and it will be impact lower managers and staff.

Yes, he did. Some of the best talented leaders seem to be laid off.

I caught wind of a rumor last week that senior leaders, down to the director level would be let go. So, seems there is some truth to that.
Also, wonder what was said in their meeting that he apologized for. What a clown. Does anyone like this guy? Imagine being a new leader from worldpay coming to work for this dude… I would run.
