I can't believe I put myself into this position. The environment is toxic, we have extremely poor people managers, most of them are micromanagers, and tools and processes are broken or ineffective. There is massive burnout not just in my team, but anywhere I look. Getting out of here is my number one goal.

I left a few years ago after being given the task to eliminate 100s of jobs every 6 months. That was bad enough however the worst part, I was told who I had to keep based on...wait for it...gender and ethnicity. None of the final RIFs ever took into consideration performance of the individuals nor impact on thier accounts. I could've met the required RIF and kept the best personnel but that wasn't important to X.

May I ask where in the company you sit ie IT, XBS etc. I sit in IT in the US and they are trying to reinvent the wheel with the worst thought out technology and processes and just wonderering what everyone else seeing
