Thread regarding PNC layoffs

Second thoughts

I think I should say this. I had heard good things about PNC and had found a couple positions I wanted to apply for in Technology, but after hearing the CEO‘s decision on a 5 day work week, and how the morale has completely changed, there is no way that I want to work for PNC. I truly believe I’d be miserable every day. I will take my talent and expertise where employees are cared about and respected.

Good morning all. I don’t know Jan, can’t recognize his/her posts (progressive commercial… “could be YAN?”…. Nevermind), and don’t wanna be him/her. I will say I’ve been with PNC almost 5 years and this is the first time I’ve felt “told” anything. We’re a good company that listens to and cares about employees, at least that’s how I felt. Was willing to be paid less in exchange for other less tangible benefits. But this RTO5 isn’t that. It’s pushed down (and poorly) and dropped with little or no guidance on the many “what if” scenarios that will come up.
We’re not a JPM or Goldman. We’re not a Truist. We’re not an anything; we’re unique in the business in many good ways.
And now, in one email from Olympus, we’re just like everyone else. Yay.

@b5

Are you sure that's a lady?
Maybe it's a man, or a non-binary, or a ladyboi.

Jan, every time you load up on assigning points upon points upon points to these posts, it just serves to prove further how deranged and obsessed you are with posturing and posing. No one cares enough to (even collectively, among various individuals) assign 21 red points or 17 green points to any of the posts in this thread. But there you went, feverishly adding way too many points to those posts anyway, because gosh DARN it!...You have a POINT to prove, and no one's gonna rain on YOUR parade, right Jan?!

LOL

It's obvious to see when it's you posting (you self-reply, and pose as being different characters - a former FTE who! - a current WFH employee who's disabled, so can't RTO! - a not so valued customer who's taking their business elsewhere! - a concerned outsider, just trying to help the bigwigs learn how to treat their employees fairly! - etc.) and apart from my amused replies to you, you alone have been pretty much the only person posting on the PNC threads for this entire past week.

Like I said, you have an easily discernible writing style, and you're not clever at all in how you try to cover your tracks. You're also a weak liar who denies the truth when called out on it, and who isn't secure enough to stand on your own to state your case - you need to appear as if others back you up, when in reality, it's just you alone whining into the wind.

On the one hand, your attempts to morph into different posting characters is funny, but it's also really rather sad to see that you're apparently so out of sorts.
When you really get down to it, your position with PNC is just a job, and it's not the end of the world if you have to RTO or be laid off.

Find better ways to cope.
This isn't it.

@OP I'm in the process of withdrawing all of my cash from PNC. I don't like how they are treating my wife who is a 17 year FTE. I will take my money to a credit union. I urge more people to follow this example. effff off Bill!

To the people who work at Pnc, I’m sorry that you’re going through this. Corporate America can be pretty vicious. Anyone that works for a big company is just a number. When you die, they will be putting work in your casket for you to get done! I feel your pain.

Yes, you keep saying this over and over again every single day, multiple times a day, Jan.
Do you have OCD or something similar?
We get it, you feel let down by PNC, you don't want to RTO, and you're going to look for work at another place of business.
So why aren't you utilizing your time doing just that?

Think of all the hours you spend posting here this past week, and then be honest about what it accomplished. Sure, for a couple of posts, it serves to get things off your chest, and vent about how things are. But after that, you're just wasting time. You could've used those hours to have instead been applying for jobs elsewhere.

You should be using your time right now to be searching for other jobs and applying to them.

CHOP CHOP!
SP-T SPOT!
Off you go!
