Why does everyone on this site seem to hate Capitalism? Isn’t that the American way? Or has America become a communist state while I slept?

What BS! The will not be anymore big layoffs within Verizon outside of VZB. VZB will have one more large layoff and then it's over for many years.

Heard March today. 13k cut in November. Timing, 12k+ employees coming from Frontier, also expected to close in March. VZ does not want to take on additional headcount.

@ac would you rather they paid less and we had average to bad executives? Stand in their shoes a minute; incredibly difficult roles where $b are to be made, or lost. For one, I want the best.

100%. Realize people, this does not end. It is not and never will be a one off. Verizon is just behaving like a good company should. Realize it is not you, it’s technology and economics.
