With age plus years of service equal full retirement pay as if you worked to age 62. Get these old timers out of here and off the books and onto the retirement plan. That's way cheaper than paying them to hang on till 62.

Yes offer the full retirement age plus service = full retirement pay and benefits. Get these old timers out. That would be cheaper than paying their salaries all the way to 62.
@a1 the gross incompetent people in the hubs can’t even process a policy change correctly without an agent calling 6x to follow up.
I’ve never in my 29 years seen such stupid people work for State Farm as i have since we moved to hubs. Atlanta is one big failed DEI building.
I need less than a year and I’m out of this mess
Ed rust was the last decent CEO that actually gave a sh-t about the employees it’s been down hill ever since
im in infosec and it has become a reality show. incompetent leadership, petty politics and backstabbing. its drama thats only found on tv and a bunch of bickering kids. Im looking to leave as soon as i can get something else.
@b8 agreed. And the numerous affairs by Tipsord will continue with the dynasty. Despicable individual. Reuined his family and the company. And doesn't care.
Wouldn't it be cheaper to offer full retirement formula to get the older employees out of here so that we younger ones can keep the job.
Claims is safe
Anybody else see the Tipsord Ta-d VP? Talk about nepotism. Are they trying to start another dynasty? The Rust Family made this company and the Tipsord Family will crush this company. We are all sc--wed with anybody Tipsord running the company.
No on the 180. Hubs is still the mission.
Actually no, they are going to 180! The hubs are the problem and they know it! Pay and employee expense keeps going up and up. Nothing but trash employees, ADA accommodations. Remotes are safe, hub people are sc--wed and they are trying to shed them as quickly as possible. Fully remote are going to get lower compensation moving forward but most would take that instead of fighting Atlanta, Bloomington, Dallas or Phoenix... SF is really sc--wed, it can't grow without running some scam artificially buying business and agent expense is never ending. Home and cars are not getting cheaper, people can't afford them. They know the economy is going to take a dump as AI will be successful eliminating 40% of jobs in the next 3-5 years. Only problem that is all those people will not be able to buy the products SF sales......it's going to usher in depression level unemployment and a great area of the Socialist States of America! SF is just an actor in this play!
Why not offer it in all departments to get rid of wfh employees. Isn't the goal to be in the hubs?
@a6 hens
@a1
The hubs were the decline of this company. They are staffed with windows licking re--rds that can’t even explain a deducible or mess a premium payment 4x in a row
I’ve seen claim reps that can’t even read a tape measure
@ah
Executive sh-t the bed by chasing market share just to go to convention a couple of years ago to thump their chest and say look what we did. Well the profitability is real bad and it’s all on them.
Our executive office, our directors and our managers had great vision. The employees failed to execute their vision. Our slide into seconds place is strictly on the employees shoulders. Time to let them go and hire fresh. 25 years or more? Let them go.
It is like people do not read the mortality rate for every year you work past 55.
Claims will not offer the new exit to its employees. It prefers to torture and move people against their will to areas they have never worked. Claims is the worst place to be in this shithole company. Claims managers are evil.
If you are not management but make over $100k a year you are the target. Over the next five years they will all be gone.
Not going to impact claims, claims has the torture and reassign people to get them to leave. They don't even have the decency to let people that have worked here 20-30 years go with at least a severance check. Claims just bullies and bullies and makes you leave or health gets so bad you stroke out and die. The posting goes up before they roll the corpse out of the cubicle
Would welcome that. Not going to make it a few more years to age 62.
I’m getting out one way or the other who ever running this place needs to be replaced what a disaster email, place is crumbling across every department
Also. This would be cheaper than a severance.
That would allow some to leave earlier but not all.
Agree and replace them within the hubs. Hire 2 for 1.
