How many would completely fall apart if even one more person gets laid off? They act like they can keep cutting forever, but eventually it’s going to catch up to them. Things will stop getting done, and no amount of spin will cover that up.

Like they used to do before Door to Door .. pun intended!!
@br guess we can just shut off your network access huh? How will you design yet another AF1 colorway that won't sell?
Enough about the techs. What about the important jobs?
They have full order book for Holidays, but who is going to handle the BAU during Holidays if the Tech teams are re-organized and laid off?
@b7 earnings not being terrible? I was listening to the wrong one…
You mean downsized to a realistic size so that everyone has to pull their weight and do some work?
I can understand the imposters are getting afraid now they have to start walking their talk and don't have their ETW's anymore to boss around.
Team was at the point of failure before the layoffs. At this point you might as well get rid of the whole initiative. Earnings not being terrible makes this even more perplexing
We’re past that point.
We were cut past the vein & they slapped the cheapest contractors they could find as a bandaid. Problems are getting hidden. Initiatives are getting delayed or failing outright. Everyone is lying & managing upward. No one cares about what they do. For years management has treated engineers as cogs that can be moved around and exchanged without loss of efficiency or interest.
Leadership has completely forgotten the human element. Our CEO apparently hasn’t. But he hasn’t replaced the worst offenders on his team.
- Raises hand * and I know many other teams in the same boat in other orgs. I feel like we’re heading towards being a skeleton crew. Plus we don’t get paid enough to do 2 other people’s jobs or atleast I don’t.
