Anyone else experiencing the delays in receiving the equipment return kit? I was told it would not impact the severance if I'm unable to return the equipment until early January. My last day is today.

@qb I got a notification that my ticket was closed and I checked the tracking they provided- they shipped it to another state lmao. Not my problem. They can fix their sc--wup if they want their machine back, I'm not spending more time chasing solutions for a company that laid me off.
@OP The severance 'Checklist' had instructions for returning your computer and your badges. You (not your manager) had to open the instructions to a lengthy knowledge article that gave you options for RETURN ON-SITE or ORDER A KIT. Then, you open a TICKET in AYS and complete the form and have the KIT mailed to you (home address or wherever).
Anyway, did all that around Tuesday last week and got emails thru the week that it was submitted, approved, etc. etc. Thursday -- TICKET was updated with delays by HCL who are handling the KITS and RETURNS. Go figure -- the outsourcing of Managed Services to HCL ends up being the company that took my job but can't take my lap! Sad.
My manager never was supposed to order a return kit. Still waiting on that to happen

Yeah we never received a kit even though we ordered it.
They still took our equipment and badges anyway. It’s their issue now.

I still have my laptop from being riff'd Dec 16'
I’m in New Jersey so my last day is in February. Do you think it would be better to go back to the office in person to return my laptop and phone? I don’t particularly want to go into the office, but I also don’t want to worry about my severance check being held up with this nonsense.
They sent me the wrong label/tracking info. I found out when I tried to get a third label. They kept telling me that I was giving them the wrong tracking numbers. I said you sent me these labels, should I send you a screenshot? They couldn't help me.
I was RIF'd before this most recent crew of 15,000. They never sent anything to me to return my computer. I called several times and reached out to my last leader. Costs too much for them to repurpose them. The Going Green thing was a facade.
Off the books. You don't work for them.
