Business essentials, just another dumpster fire program. Everyone knows that the equipment Talech is pure junk. Talech was junk prior to USB buying them out and they still bought the lemon. The only people who think it is great are the people pushing it and not using it. Everyone else can’t stand it.

@b5 there's another post in this sub that talks about a law firm sniffing around for employees that are older being let go. Might be something to look into.

I'm so sorry. I hope you were given a good severance package. Thank you for your years of service.

U.S. Bank grade 15 IT employee here. Given one day termination on 2025/08/20. Was not able to turnover active work. Secretive but know of 4 others from private calls. One with 35 years and also give one day notice.

@a2 you mean “Business Essentials” isn’t the most successful product the bank has ever released?

Everyone knows the only way they're boosting EOY numbers to make them look effective is to lay off several hundred employees.

The analysts see right through it.

There were many things from that call that just...uff. The question on hiring strategies and commitment to hubs while also laying off and sending jobs to Poland, India, and wherever else is peak gaslighting. You can't say that you want an in-office culture while you send jobs outside of your hubs. It doesn't align.

It's careful dodging of the actual questions to spin it in their favor. People, in general, are not happy. You went from a strong, remote work culture to this huge in office push and then they threaten us like children with the "well other companies are mandatory 5 days a week". Office culture doesn't equal productivity. Treating your employees like people rather than line item expenses to simply be managed would go a long way.

This MC continues to show us how out of touch and straight DELUSIONAL they are.

In regard to the question about remote employee opportunities — I can assure you they are deploying tactics to get remote workers to attrite. How do I know? Because I’m living it now.

The best was the slide that our confidence is the MC is 17% lower than our peers

Somebody needs to let the leader know that the vast majority of the "Business Essentials" customers do not activate the payment solution sitting in the PMI ledger, as a general rule less than 10 percent of these small business "Business Essentials" customers actual accept card payments through the payment services sold through this solution.
