Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

If you get laid off at Wells Fargo does Wells need to report your layoff to States Employment offices under the WARN act if Wells

Knows you work a side hustle turning tricks in which you make a lot more money since you’re being paid in cash unlike you did working your boring Wells Fargo job?

Horrible that massive layoff happened on employee appreciation week too. Now that's pretty sh---y.

Federal law allows the 60 days non working notice so no WARN required. State laws differ. AZ don’t care and uses Federal law.

OP might want to look up the meaning of the phrase “turning tricks”…I’m guessing he/she misused it here? It’s illegal (except under certain circumstances in Nevada). But okay, to answer the question, Wells Fargo wouldn’t take an employee’s illegal income into consideration re: WARN reporting,—and if they knew about it, they probably wouldn’t lay you off; they’d fire you. Either way, no WARN.

@OP

Calm down. Take a breath.

Utilize periods instead of posting a run-on mess. Maybe re-enroll in second grade if the concept is unclear.

Thanks.

@b4 I guess it’s that new AI that TK supposedly rolled out. She would know a Prost…. To develop an AI to recognize it.
